To keep the registration/announcement thread cleaner I thought I'd make a discussion thread for everyone to talk about the upcoming 2011 MegaMeet.

I had a question I meant to pose to Rob before but since I didnt see it covered I figured I'd mention here.

As far as the raffle goes, I'm assuming it a "purchase tickets at event" type deal correct?

If so, any idea of the cost of tickets yet? Or is that still being sorted out?

 

first 100 registered participants get a free ticket. based on the sign up thread.....


I also figured on on-site sales as well AND a 50/50 raffle if interest supports.


Also I wanted to mention that proceeds from this event will be put right back into another event. Eventual funds would support future endeavors such as meeting space, group dinners, track days etc. Full disclosure of funds at anytime to anyone wanting to know....

raffle and 50/50 tickets usually go:
1 for 1.00
6 for 5.00
13 for 10.00
28 for 20.00

working on finalizing it and approval from route 46 before I can send out....looks like monday is the dayfor all that. i will PM you with the cliff's notes....it will be a walk in the park for you I promise....LOL

 

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Due to unforseen circumstances the venue has forced us to change the date of the FL MegaMeet. The new date is November 12, 2011.

We are very sorry for this inconvenience and hope that this doesn't affect anyones ability to attend but this was out of our control

For anyone that has registered, if you could please just reconfirm that the new date works.

wtf??? now i cant go. im out unless you change the date back.

 

Sorry man but we didn't expect this. The venue screwed us on the date. The date is now the 12th. I know it sucks but it was outside of our control.

 

great planning.... i got overly excited as usual.

 

Wow.....really? I mean really? Considering WE didn't do this the venue did...they screwed us...it wasnt a lack of planning but thanks for being mature about it.

Either way...thats the last I'll comment on this. It is what it it is.
