Default Fitment issue with EZ-On Soft Top

I installed an EZ-On soft top about a month ago but there one place where the fitment is off. At the very top of the window there is a gap between the soft tap and the weatherstripping. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

Yeah. Just like most DIY'ers, I don't think you put the cable in properly. That would be the only thing to cause this to happen.

Update

I finally fixed the gap. I had installed the velcro flap only around one of the bows instead of the last two bows.

Yeah, in the first picture you can see the Bow not folding correctly. Looks nice now that you fixed it, I personally have an EZ-ON top and love the way it fits/looks especially for the price!

Reading this thread makes me think I didn't install my ezon top correctly.

Is the 1st bow to high? I also noticed the weather strip towards the windshield is wrapped by the top but the back 2/3 isn't. I double checked and the flap is only in the front. Maybe it's all just in my head.

The center of the top seems to come to a point. you can also see some distortion at the middle of the rear window. Perhaps the rear most bow needs to come forward a little?

my tension cables actually show when the top is up lol, wait how many bows get material folded into them? 2 right the rear bow gets the velcro piece and the front gets the regular piece? Is the velcro piece supposed to be separated or something?

Ok guys. Just took some picture of the bows. The flap need to go around the "last" bow towards the back of the car. The flap also needs to go around the middle bow and will velcro around the middle bow. I hope these pictures help you.

Mine sits like this

I've just photographed how it sits on the bows

As you can see the elastic strap doesn't wrap around the middle bow

I'll get on a laptop now to view the above photos better
