It wasn't as popular last year, but I've always enjoyed the New Year's Resolutions threads...

As we have done in years past, post up your resolutions and we'll try and bump this thread every so often so you can keep track and stay motivated!

I resolve...
to install the SRS harness in my S2000 this year.

Part of being good is knowing how to call your shots.

To focus on paying off debts. In 2011 I payed off some debt. In 2012 I'd like to pay off another chunk.

I'm not normally a New Year's resolution type necessarily, but I have some goals for this year.

Personal:
-Run a sub 24:45 5K and sub 42:00 8K (current PRs are 25:26 and 43:40 respectively)
-Maintain 158-160lbs and 12% BF (currently 165.7 and unknown BF)
-Pass the NC Bar exam (currently licensed in VA, but want to expand my practice)

Car:
-Safe and reliable 290whp (at about 270whp currently)

Trying to keep modest, attainable goals so that I feel I've accomplished something rather than super high unrealistic goals I probably won't hit.

There are a few races I will be running in this winter Kevin. You signed up for any as of yet?

Good stuff man. Half-marathons are out of my range. I don't have the time to train, nor the desire to run that far really... but I respect the effort for sure. My personal favorite is the 5K, but I'm running the Shamrock 8K in March. I'll probably do 3-5 "official" 5Ks throughout the year, but I haven't signed up for any yet. I generally just look at the Tidewater Striders website and pick a few that are nearby.
