There i was i had just picked up my friend on my way to my house. just driving on a normal two lane road crusin proly goin 40-45. out of nowhere a car coming from the opposite way decides to take a sharp left turn right in front of me out of nowhere. It wasnt even like he thought ohh i could proly make it he just turned HARD directly in front of me and almost hit me head on! I slammed on my brakes but had no time to slow down and flew into him. my passenger side got nailed by this guys white nissan suv. my car is totaled and his car drove away...idk if this guy was texting or just daydreaming or high but idk how one makes a turn without looking...r.i.p. my first s2k.
cant beleive my car got taken away from me in a split second that easily
Im lookin for another used s2k in the 12-16grand price range if anyone knows of anyone selling on east coast send me a link!

Sorry to hear this man . This actually happen to me too a few weeks ago. Very simalar situations actually. It's almost like every is totaling there S at least your okay and how about your friend? You guys have neck and back pain right? Goodluck finding a new one man.

 

...as long as your ok ...you can always buy another S ...but you my friend are priceless

my friend in passenger got alot more hurt than i did. he didnt show that he was hurt but he had a big cut on the back of his head and had to get 6 staples! we both were taken to the hospital in an ambulance. i think i sprained my wrist it was hurtin alot yesterday but its nothin major other than that my neck just hurt from whiplash/ nailing the air bag.

 

That's terrible, how long did you get to enjoy your car?

i bought it last may, it was an 01 ap1 with 58xxx miles for 11,000. crashed with 67xxx. i was saving up to get an sos supercharger...i have 3500 in my car parts fund i was gettin there !!

 

that sucks, the front end is designed for more absorbtion so when the front is hit it really gets fubared.

 

Well if your back doesn't hurt I would start claiming it does the same should go for your friend, contact your lawyer and let him/her know what happen . I know this is the reason why insurance premiems are so high but if you can't beat them join them right? Buy a new s2k with your insurance money then boost it with the settlement money

 

Glad you are alright but sorry to hear about the S. Been alot more accidents lately, maybe it's the time of year?
