With the side bracket for the street will up be able to close the soft top with it installed?

no unfortunately. for that, you are looking for a 2 piece design, which im working on but its going to be a bit more expensive than these. or you can grab a set of the oem rears for about $600ish

dont buy the junk hardware brakets that are on the market currently.. buy something quality. these brakets are the only way to go for under $100!

would these front brackets get rid of the latch rattles on my oem hardtop?

YES!!!!! one of the best reasons to buy these, not to mention they are harder for a thief to steal your top and just about eliminate windnoise from the front.

Any pictures of the front latches in action? Are these for sure going to be hold stronger than oem latches?
