Default Collection day!!!

Well it's collection day, very excited last night!!!! Reminded me of when I was a child on Christmas eve!

Anyway about to leave, but when I get back will post some 'before' pics as I have a monster detail planned for it!

Thanks for all help and advice guys.

Happy days .

One of the best bits about picking up a new car is the first big clean when you get it home.

I don't agree with the first clean. This is when you generally discover any blemishes the previous owner has tried masking!!

I love the second drive, so this is generally when you are alone (no longer have the missus following you) and you are ready to go try her out a bit!

I hardly slept a wink on the night before. Hope you have a good day, get some pics up later.

Afternoon

Well after my 'collection day' thread I can confirm I have safely arrived home, the journey was about 140 miles in total which were trouble free and the car ran like a dream. I didn't give too much away on my other thread for fear of criticism however I bought this S2k blind have never seen it in the flesh. It was purchased from BCA auctions and was an 'unwanted' part ex from dealer group Pendragon. I was intending to bid on it last week but they pulled it last minute after accepting an offer on it however this buyer let them down so I got a chance to bid this Tues and won!!!!

Massive risk bearing in mind all I had to go on was the lot information and a couple of badly taken photos but I did it all the same, in my eyes it was a risk worth taking as I have ended up with a cracking 2 owner example, GT spec car, FHSH for the price of an early example.

Anyway here are some before pictures having just arrived home and driven through every type of weather imaginable -

Comments and criticism welcome!! Lol!!!
