Reason for Sale
The reason for the sale is that I recently leased an Audi S4, and I have an E92 M3. As you might imagine, it took a little convincing to the wife to allow me to have an M3 and S4 at the same time, so I agreed to let the S2000 go to a new deserving owner.
Purchase
I am the original owner. I bought it brand new from Honda of Ocala on April 19, 2007 with 7 miles on the odometer.
Maintenance
I have maintained the vehicle myself as I have always done with my cars. I have an up-to-date an Excel Spreadsheet and have all receipts. I can email interested buyers the spreadsheet. I used Amsoil 5w30 roughly every 5,000 miles since I dumped factory fill at 2946 miles. I have used LE1607 and Honda MTF every 15,000 miles since I dumped the factory fill at 4157 miles. I have Blackstone Oil Reports from engine, diff, and transmission at 35,000 miles and engine at 75,000 miles.
Tires are Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs 225/45ZR17 and 255/40ZR17 that I got on 8/27/11 and installed at 106,000 miles. Tires are in very good condition.
My spread sheet will detail any needed upcoming maintenance.
Defects/Disclosures
I am a detail fanatic and have about $10,000 worth of detail stuff. The paint is in as good of condition as possible for a car with such high mileage. I would guess there are about a dozen noticeable rock chips on the car. Nothing large enough to warrant me getting anything painted. On 2/5/12 I did Menzerna SIP and SF Paint Correction and finished with Power Lock Sealant.
I took a photo of the passenger side underneath the door near the running board area. I rubbed a cinder block when turning around in a driveway. As seen in the photo it looks more like dirt splatter from the front wheel, but it is scraped. It is low enough that it didn't warrant painting.
The driver's seat has minor wear but nothing you wouldn't expect from a used car.
I had a Replica Mugen intake, so I trimmed the hood to allow it to fit properly. You can see in the photos a rub mark and taped hood. The hood is structurally sound and unaffected.
The wheels have no curb rash, only minor blemishes from alignments and rock chips.
Modifications
I have had several bolt-on modifications over the years including a hardtop. That is why the top looks brand new. It hasn't seen the sun for very many miles.
I bought a new OEM Front Lip and Coastal Metals Splitter and installed 12/26/11. Between the two I paid $511.71. The car has 1,200 miles on it since I installed them. I wasn't planning to buy an S4.
I have a Spoon Shift knob installed as seen in the photos. I don't have OEM knob.
There is a K&N Filter in OEM Airbox.
All windows are tinted 27% and the windshield has 55%.
For a detailed list of the bolt-ons I have had on the car I can email you the maintenance report.
