Hey everyone!

I figured I'd try a little something with the UMW Owners' Rides Showcase thread.

First of all, being a stickied thread, it might be otherwise overlooked, so I wanted to post a topic informing everyone of its creation.

Secondly, since I'd like it to ideally be devoted just to posts containing pictures, I wanted this thread to contain comments related to it. This gives everyone a chance to voice their thoughts on the thread as a whole, as well as pose questions like "Woah [username], what meet was this picture [insert picture URL here] from?!" or "Can anyone tell me whose red AP1 is in [insert picture URL here]?!"

Feel free to shoot down the idea if ya'll think it's dumb. I just thought it might be a neat way to collectively show off so many awesome locally-owned cars AND some of the awesome meets we've had over the years!

I need to be banned from the picture thread. Seeing all those pics brings back memories and urges to abandon my responsibilities and go buy an s right meow.

 

For that very reason, I think I shall make that thread your homepage.

Seriously though, we've got some awesome collections already rolling in. I had forgotten about the massive groups at both the Peoria meet (Sam's first few pics) and that early Spring downtown meet and cruise where we had a whopping 4 CR's in attendance! (and yes, my foreveralone MINI)

 

Excellent Idear!!! Now i can pull out the pics from FWT and first couple times at the dragon.. Ill be posting ancient pix really soon here.

I just stumbled across a smorgasbord of pics from the past several years that were compiled for the Birthday Bash last year. I'll try to get the group car shots uploaded and posted in the next few days.

Brings me back to a time when Andy and I were the young newbs. Now we're just the old newbs.

 

I remember one of the first umw threads I ever looked at was about a track day where Keith spun out in front of a crowd and it was all caught on camera. I think pat was there as well.
