Very easy. Evans sends the calibration via email with a set of driving instructions. You upload the calibration to your ecu and datalog everything as stated. Then you send him back the datalog files so he can make the changes and send you a revised calibration. From the first calibration the car ran smooth.

That's good to hear. I'm considering doing this. Is the datalogging and uploading the files to the ecu hard? I have aem

The V3 is self contained. I like it because I do many track days and didn't want the engine oil getting even hotter circulating through the SC.

The datalog are easy to download to your PC, same as uploading a file from your computer to your AEM. They send you some instructions just in case your unfamiliar with uploading or data logging.

Very nice! I made 8.5psi on my AP2 with a 4.25" pulley. I thought it would make more boost as well, closer to 10psi, but with a header and test pipe (I also have 70mm exhaust) the motor flows better, hence less pressure in the manifold. But you are making good power. I'm gonna switch to a 3.8" pulley and a billet impeller in the next couple months and see what results.

The V3 seems to make less boost than V2.

The 4" on my AP1 made 12.5 psi. Seems strange the 3.8" only made 10. It's listed at least for V2 blower and AP2 to make 12-13 I believe.

I'm putting 3.6" on ap1 shortly and hoping for 15+ psi.

Good looking setup though! And nice numbers!

The newer V2 and V3 SCi (which I have) should in theory make the same boost, only difference is internal oil supply in the V3 says Vortech. The AP2 makes less boost due to the lower red line. If I was able to raise my limiter from 8400 to 9000rpms I would see about 12 psi. Put back the stock header and exhaust and maybe even 13.

Yeah I have heard Vortech say that it just seems like a lot of difference compared to AP1. There's a pulley chart for Vortech on here that has been spot on for my AP1. Maybe it is off for AP2 as for how much boost each pulley should make.

Just looked and 4" lists 11 psi for AP2 at 8200 rpm. But exhaust mods can lower the boost a little bit like you said. Time to get a 3.4-3.5" pulley on there!

Hey guys any updates here??

Did you upgrade the impeller and go with a smaller pulley again? If so which impeller and what size pulley?

Im thinking of putting a 3inch or 2.8inch pulkey on mine. I want to get 8 or 10 rib so it wont slip. Apparently the belts slip without you realising and therefore its not spinning as fast as you think.
