Dent repair
Hi Guys
As some of you may know, some douchebag kicked my passenger side door over the weekend whilst my car was parked on the street.
Apart from the dent, there are some light scratches from the gravel of the persons shoe, which i'm sure can hopefully be buffed out. Will take a close shot later.
So now I am looking at my options to get this fixed.
1. Go through insurance, pay excess of $575. Get it fixed at their "preferred repairer" PJ ward smash repairs (googled this place and seems to be no reviews about it, so im a bit weary of leaving my car there). Be without a car for about a week.
Insurance says the cost of total repair will be $1500.
2. Find a trusted smash repairer and get the dent fixed. Hopefully around the $600 price range and thus not affecting my premium or rating.
3. Find a replacement passenger side door and repaint it to MCB. (I assume everything is the same between AP1 and AP2 doors besides the door panels that can be changed anyway?)
There is a SSM passenger side door on ebay up in brisbane going for $175 (auction).

There is also a pair of MCB doors (both drivers and passenger) for $400 on gumtree, could ask the seller if he is willing to sell just the passenger door. From the pics it seems it might need a respray.

So what i'm asking is:
What would you guys do?
Does anyone have a repairer they can refer me to?
I've never had to go through this kind of process before so I appreciate any help. Just wanting to get this fixed in the most efficient and economical way possible.
Thanks in advance!!
And now onto the damage

That sucks man I saw the pics on FB. I'd take the trip to Fairfield( but take a piece with u ) hahaha surely the guy would sell them separate and it might be cheaper to get the mcb doors sprayed or they might be in ok condition. Shipping a door from qld would have to cost u atleast $100 with e-go, thats my opinion
Hey mate,
I'm willing to take the driver side door if you buy the passenger side? Only problem is that I'm from Melbourne so if you can courier the doors my way then we can get the ball rolling?
Pm me.

So a quick update, took it to Jim at the Dent Clinic. Absolutely amazing work!! Would recommend him to anyone.
Checked up on it this morning and its pretty much gone. He's going to work on it a luttle bit more as well as other little ripples around the car. Couldnt be happier!!
