Default Side Diffuser; Rx7 vs s2k

Can anyone tell me why some owners are running the the Rx7 side diffuser instead of the side diffusers that are made for our cars? And how much modification is needed to make it work? Thanks

I am debating on purchasing the Shine RX7 side diffusers of the Downforce Carbon Fiber side diffusers, all for aesthetic purposes only. The RX7 ones just have a nice look to them and seem to flow well with the S. I don't much modification is needed, if any, to get them to fit.

First I have heard of this being done, I will keep an eye on this thread. Wouldn't the rx-7 ones be a bit more expensive?

Looks awesome. What modifications does it take to install them? I am assuming since they are Shine they are alot more expensive than some of the others made for our cars?

Are the RX7 side diffusers lower than the side jack points?

Do the RX7 ones stick out a lot more? Or could it be just the angle of the picture.
