Default My MCB-Project from Finland

Hello all!
I guess you might have seen me around sometimes, and now that I got my car back together after doing some repairs in the wintertime I thought I´d post some fresh pictures!
I bought my 2002 MCB S2000 from the UK last spring, and have been improving it ever since.
First off I bought some quite rare BBS RS-II wheels in 17x8 / 17x9, and some lowering springs. That was pretty much it for last summer since buying the car in the first place pretty much ate up all of my budget.

During the winter I did some rust-repairs since the rear arches were quite rusty on the inside. Looked like someone had sprayed undercoating on top of rust, and it had spread underneath it.

A bit of cutting..

And welding..

And there we have it, rust free rear arch.

The other side wasn´t much better..

But luckily it was just another day at the office for my buddy Juhi who took care of all the cutting and welding..

We also installed a 3" Catback to kill some time.

Car on the way to the paint shop.

Endless sanding... First pic of the new AP2 front bumper.

Primered.. Time for some more sanding!

In the booth, with some fresh paint layed on.

Putting her back together.. Working through the night

And refurbing the wheels..

Got it all done just in time for the sunrise..

And a few pics after I got the BC-Racing coilovers installed last weekend.

I´ll keep this updated when something new happens. Feel free to comment!

Looks excellent work on the rust and the paint. I hope my arches aren't that bad as I'm due to get mine painted soon!
