Default Discounted Track Day, Firebird Main

As most of you know I run/work for ProAutoSports. I very rarely see any S2K's out at the track and would like to take a shot at getting some more out there!

So Normally your first day running costs $200 and that includes the $40 ProAuto membership to run the rest of the year. On your first track day you will have a classroom session explaining how the whole thing works and some overview of proper racing technique. You will then have 4 Twenty minutes sessions throughout the rest of the day with a instructor in the car with you for at least the first 2 sessions. If your doing well after the first 2 sessions you can fly solo the rest of the day. The classroom is only offered on Friday and Saturday and you can opt to add Sunday at the same price as below.

If we can get 5 cars preregistered for the Thanksgiving Weekend event the price will drop to $160 for the day and include the membership for 2013 season.

If we can get 10 cars preregistered the above package drops to $100!!

Example: At the 10 car price, Do the class/first day on Friday and also run Saturday= $200 etc... you get it. Your first day just cant be Sunday.

To preregister you basically need to fill out the paperwork and pay within the next 2 weeks. We will have a sign up in this thread for the next week then I will start sending out the paperwork that needs to be filled out and collect the cash/Paypal. Obviously the goal here is to get to 10 cars so feel free to advertise this to your fellow friends and family, but I would like to see some S2k's!

Just so your aware, if you wanted to run any other day in 2013 you will pay $145 per track day once you have your membership.

If your instructor feels like your doing a good job you can add HotLap to your day while at the track, it will give you 2 more Twenty minute sessions that are timed using a AMB transponder that will allow you to compete in your class for trophies and bragging rights. This would be additional $40 per day that you would add on once at the track and signed off on by your instructor.

Man i wish my car would be done this would be a blast, i have run for years with NASA but never with pro-auto but I have heard nothing but good things, This is a great time to go out and learn your car and how to be safe in it at higher speeds. Wish I could get some seat time on FIR incase the situation doesnt change.

I'm in. I just did Firebird West with ProAutoSports last Friday and Firebird Main with NASA on Sat and Sun. I definitely could use more time on the track. It was a blast at both tracks. I'd be up for all three days.

I would love to try this out, too bad my car is my daily. I would hate to crash it or push it too hard and blow my engine.

Strongly considering this. I have track time with NASA and other orgs. Is it possible to start with pro auto in a more advanced group and skip the class room and instruction? I can provide my signed off log book from NASA. I would prefer starting in a more advanced group if possible.

For insurance reasons you will have to take the class and probably do the first red session, after that it shouldn't be a problem to bump you up.
