Just giving everyone a heads up on the upcoming April Event. There are plans to go to Marion, Va. for 4 days and experience The Back of the Dragon, highway 16 in VA. I've driven this road several times and it is intense to say the least. A lot of cool roads up there to adventure on. Afterward, the attendees will venture down to Fontana, NC for several days at the infamous Tail of the Dragon. If you have never been let me say, the S is right a home here...almost purposely built for roads of this caliber. The first link is the registration thread for the event. I think the fiancee' and I are going to try to bring both of our S's this year. Can't wait!

 

I start work in a new office mid-feb so I can't say I'm 100% just yet.

Once they give me the go ahead on vacation I will register!

 

New here. Just so happens I've been wanting to plan a trip to the dragon for April or May. Guess ill have to see about registering and lodging. How many have y'all got coming from the Carolinas?

I know of 4-5 currently from the Florence/Columbia (South Carolina) area that will be going and possibly a few from the Greenville/Spartanburg area as well. There usually a good size crowd that comes from different regions of North Carolina that will also be attending. Where are you located?
