Double Dragon Convoy - April 10 2013
The Double Dragon is going to take place the week of April 7 through 14. Starting in Marion, VA at Back of the Dragon on April 7, there will be three days of driving Rt 16, 32 miles of some of the finest 55mph roads in southern VA. Headquarters will be the General Francis Marion Hotel where there is a special rate of $89/night. On Wednesday the 10th, a number of people will get together and drive to Little Switzerland, NC and spend part of the day driving Rt 226A. This road is a challenge for anyone and a lot of fun. Leaving from Little Switzerland, it's 15 miles of curves and switchbacks down the mountain. Wednesday afternoon, everyone will leave for Deal's Gap and Tail of the Dragon. If you've never driven the Dragon, you don't know what you're missing. This is a road the S2000 was designed for. Come on out, I can guarantee you'll find some serious challenges, new friends, good times and great memories.
