A little off-topic, but thought everyone would approve.

Ron Howard's movie 'Rush' about the 1976 F1 title battle between Hunt and Lauda filming at the Nurburgring. After Senna, I'm happy there will be another quality movie about racing. Looking forward to this

^Nice I saw something about it on F1technical. On other note, Senna is now on Netflix for those who didn't already know.

@riegerm3: It might help that Bruno was driving for Lotus(Renault) and Williams is switching to the Renault engine, so there might be some additional technical backing. Bruno probably brings in more sponsors than Barrichello, especially now that Williams lost their AT&T sponsorship.

On a side note, that means only Marussia and HRT are using cosworth engines? It's kind of sad because I feel like they will end up leaving F1 again since only the back markers are using them.

Unless McLaren decides to go Cosworth once their deal with Mercedes comes to an end. I know there have been rumors of Honda but can't help but think of Cosworth working with a major team.

^^^^McLaren themselves came out and said once their deal for free engines from Mercedes runs out they will still keep using Mercedes engines so do not expect to see them moving away from Mercedes power any time soon.

I am glad Bruno will get to drive this season, i think he showed a great talent last year with his drives for Lotus and i'll be interested to see how he goes with a seat that is guaranteed his for the whole season.

I also can't work out why people thing Kubica is a great driver? He never really achieved anything staggering while he had working legs so why do people think he will once he's put back together again?

Kubica was able to hang with the top teams, but BMW seemed to lose out on development over the season. I think BMW did come in 3rd in the WCC one season, so there was hype that if BMW could produce a car to compete he could win. We also saw what he did in the one year he drove for Renault.

I just saw this on F1fanatic. Didn't know they created a calender and put the dates of the car launches

Kubica has (had) good potential. Always very exciting to watch. I can remember that he was also mathematically in with a chance to claim the championship the year Hamilton won his first championship. And I'll never forget him leading a BMW one two to the podium in Montreal. His career did take a setback with BMW leaving the sport and him having to move to Renault that was rebuilding after being rocked by scandal.

A good look at how the new regulations will effect the looks of 2012 cars.

WTF!!!!!

FIA rules that the Reactive Ride System is illegal for 2012. I bet they change their mind again before the season begins.

^It's pretty stupid. They crush any innovative thinking.

I read somewhere that they are deeming it illegal now because it effects the aero performance, so it is considered active aero. Where do you expect teams to innovate when there is an engine freeze? Aero is the only area, and even then it is limited. Why limit the sport to almost like a spec series. Could they argue that this system is safe for the drivers since it will keep a steady aero balance on and off of braking?
