While I always wanted some TE-37's in a mag blue colour, I decided just to re-paint my existing rims a darker blue colour. The rims were previously painted a colour that closely matched Volk F-zero blue, I now have gone with a darker blue. It isn't as dark as Volk Mag blue, which is okay with me as Mag blue can look almost black in some conditions, a bit too dark. I like this shade of blue.

I am always amazed how light these rims are when there are no tires on them, very lightweight forged rims, so they are worth re-painting.

Thanks very much. I do have to give you credit for the two suggestions to paint the wheels and get the hood painted. You definitely got me thinking about those two mods. I'll be working on the hood next.

As stated earlier, the new colour looks great.
Hope to come out to S2ki meets in the GTA next year and see the car in person!

I got all four wheels mounted and installed on the car today, first time it's been out for a few weeks. Had a chance to snap a few pics.

Side view in sunny conditions they come out as a nice dark blue with metal flake sparkle

Engine bay is done. It only took 6 years Mugen carbon fiber coil cover installed.
