Your build rocks! Love the great additions to our GPW and enjoyed reading your build thread.

Yeah it does, but I'll end up buying another one down the road after this one is completely destroyed, if that ever happens. I do like the ASM cooling plate as well but is your Amuse hood really hard to close? I have to gently but firmly push down on the latch to get it to catch with the new plate in there, just curious if aftermarket hoods were the same way?

Hey thanks a lot, it's been a slow but steady process over the years, now all I need is a mint CR to garage with mine!

With my hood I had to trim the plate slightly so the hardware wouldn't come into contact. A small portion of the latch support area lightly contacts the plate so I put some small adhesive foam on the hood to keep anything from getting scuffed. It doesn't really take a lot of effort to close the hood though.

Bumping this thread after spending hours redoing all of the broken picture links thanks to Photobucket. I made another thread, but in the end, I couldn't let all of the work on this thread go to waste. Here are some random pictures since the last update on this thread.

I purchased a Toda 70mm throttle body and ASM throttle body spacer, along with a Toda 60-70mm test pipe to replace the Berk 70mm I had on there. Also got a hold of some Spoon radiator stays and a nice Mugen oil cap to dress things up in the bay a little more. Other than that, I've just been enjoying the car and hopefully looking to do a spring event down at Sebring if I'm able to get some of my things from storage for the event.

Our engine bays look very similar. Does the ASM spacer taper the the Toda throttle body from 70 to 60mm? In other words, is it's intention to increase airflow velocity? Did you port match the intake manifold? I was thinking of doing the same thing.
