I would say it's unlikely.

I think there is a chance it comes in under 3000 lbs.

Has there been any (roughly super car proportioned) car with an aluminum space frame that has weighed below 3,000 lbs.? I can't think of one.

Thing looks killer, saw one in person and it looked absolutely ridiculous in a good way. Incredible exterior design

If it's not faster than the ACR... I will be disappointed.

Im rooting it is. If they want to sell a 500k American super car, it has the be the fastest on the track, period. I'm going on a hunch and it will be, but not by much.

The Koenigsegg Agera's curb weight hovers right around 3,000 lbs, depending on trim/model. Given Ford's engineering might, and the fact that the GT will produce roughly 400 LESS hp, I think it's certainly possible for the GT to be under 3,000 lb.

Billy, you don't need me to tell you all the reasons that's not an acceptable answer. :-)

Why not? It's chassis is all-aluminum and it has the supercar design/shape/proportions.
