Thanks for all the input I really do appreciate it. I am planning to go with a new one dealers with 16's will want to move them as the 17's will be coming out soon so hopefully I can get a decent deal.I will keep it stock and use it as a daily, I'm figuring I may want to pick up a set of steel wheels and some winter tires to get me through the winter. I'm sick of dealing with rust ssues on my Tacoma it is just ridicoulus and really want something enjoyable to drive.

Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have the technology to post pics (I'm somewhat stuck in the 80's) It is ice silver and is the base model although I'm amazed at all the electronic gadgets it has and am enjoying learning them all. It just recently came onto the dealer's lot it was built in May of 16' and is a 17 model. I've owned a lot of cars and most high performance but have never had a turbo and so far really like it.

Sweet, yeah, the WRX was my first turbo car too, they are definitely a lot of fun. If you really want to see what it can do, get a cobb accessport and tune it to stage 1. Then it will really fly!

I had a 2009 WRX for a few years. It was OK but I wasn't a huge fan of it, TBH. The power was nice, but everything else was marginal, including the handling, interior, and reliability. Mine started making some kind of grinding noise from the diff or tranny, with 45k miles on it. Luckily I traded it in. However, I just don't trust Subaru mechanicals, especially with their known issues such as the weak-ass ringlands in the 2.5l motors that they've yet to fix.
