I can see the logic, 3 years warranty, option of a service pack, good discount, your choice of options and not a million miles from 1M performance. Hassle free motoring for 3 years and the residuals should be fairly good (in the scheme of such things)
I'd have been tempted this time last year but ultimately my low mileage and spare car offsets the advantages and I wanted to try full fat M. chilled has already scratched that itch

Why new? Several factors. I hate selling cars. I love having my exact spec. I like the fact there's no hidden history. I love oem warranty. I loathe cars not working and having to pay to make them right. So I lease.
I'm paying a premium for all these reasons. I end up with hassle free motoring. I could get this kind of performance cheaper, but it would cost me in time. And time is the most valuable commodity of all.
Plus in 3 years time you all get performance bargains.
Only mod I'm considering, other than the black grills which the dealer fitted, is I'd love a delimiter.
If it was a bolt on different I'd consider a quaife, but I'm not really a mod type of person.
Nearly went for estoril blue, but very glad I didn't. I love the stealth look of it. It's not a pretty car so not worth trying and to make it stand out. But I love the looks more than I thought I would.
It's over 1000 miles now and it's less than a week old. Utterly loving it. Especially now I've figured how to keep it in manual 'box mode.

Yeah, that.
I tend to keep cars a long time, which takes the sting out of the dep'n. Not sure about the warranty stuff though.
Actually, I agree that it's a car I could be tempted by, under different circumstances. I even like the 'invisible' colour, despite my preference for blue. Or 'up yer pipe' orange.
It makes a lot of sense if you need/want a driveable new car.

Love it! Looks very discreet in that colour, very rare too. Congratulations. Please keep us updated as get more miles under your belt.
The M135i is currently a dilemma in my mind, suck a cracking car for the money.
So... I currently have a BMW F11 525d, going no where!
I also have a S2000 (obviously) and the wife has a Mazda 3.
Options are, keep the S2000 and replace the Mazda with a 5 door M135i
Or
Replace the S2000 with a Z4M roadster and keep the Mazda 3.
Tricky one!
