hotel room

Going to switch to Marriott. I've always been a Hilton person but I'm noticing that a lot of the places I travel to for work have a Marriott affiliated hotel closer to the office than Hiltons

I'm a Marriott gold member for the 4th straight year...

... despite having spent a grand total of 8 nights in a hotel the last 2 years.

I've swapped over to Marriott/Ritz this past year from Hilton as well. I found Hilton on average to have rooms that aren't as nice, and to your point not as well located

These are really good points. I'm going to stick with Marriott for now.

I don't like that I can't pick my room and they don't go by stays. Not total nights. I travel sometimes for one night and for Hilton, that counts a lot. Almost like a PQD for flying.

For what it's worth, I've been a marriott gold since 2014, based off of staying 85 nights... and 2 or 3 nights the last 2 years. I don't know why they keep giving it to me, but I'll happily take my top floor upgrades.

A Green air filter. Apparently lots more noise comes through.
