DFR Drive: Poker Run Poker run will be a little different this year. We'll provide a map of each stop that will have a description of what you neet to take a picture of as proof you completed the course. Stops will be at interesting places you may not have otherwise been to. This is NOT a race and the prizes will be awarded on poker hand rankings, not on speed. You have from when you register your hands until the banquet on Saturday night to complete the run. We want everyone to have a fun and safe time, so please take your time on the run. Participants will provide pictures of all 5 items at the poker run table at the beginning of the banquet, and choose one card from each of the 5 decks corresponding to the picture from each stop. This will be done for each of the hands they have registered for. You will have the option to purchase a 6th card for any hand at the table (Banquet), then submit the best 5 cards for your hand. You can register up to 3 hands per car. Poker Hand Rankings (high to low) / Rules Royal Flush Straight Flush Four of a Kind Full House Flush Straight Three of a Kind Two Pair Pair High Card An Ace counts as high card for all hands (ie: Pair of Aces beats pair of Kings) In a straight, an Ace can count low or high, but not both... (Q,K,A,2,3) is not a straight. If any card drawn is a duplicate of a card in your hand, that card must be re-drawn. No hand can have duplicate cards (ie: you can't have more than one Jack of hearts in your hand) In the event of same hand and/or high card, prize will be split between duplicate hands. This thread will be udated with where/when to register for your hands pending interest in the run.
