Maybe they will be delivered by drone. A drone without a controller. So that it just goes wherever until the battery runs out. Then that person gets your parts. And you get a delivery confirmed notice. But there is not delivery at your house. And you have the sad.

We attempted to deliver your item at 5:36 pm on December 5, 2016 in HARPERS FERRY, WV 25425 and a notice was left because no secure delivery location was available.
No note on the door AND I was home.

I am SO tired of the USPS out here. They need more staff and a better way to do packages. It is only going to get worse as more and more Amazon and whatever packages are being sent USPS. SO ANGRY!!!!

Hah the only time amazon goes USPS is when it is small enough to fit in the mailbox.

That may be the case where you are but that is definitely not true with me. Almost everything I order Amazon Prime ends up being delivered "last mile" by USPS. The funny thing is that those purchases are the only ones I am not upset about. I suspect that Amazon pays USPS extra money or has some sort of agreement because those are the only USPS packages that end up on my doorstep.

I am specifically thinking of when I ordered this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is a pretty decent sized tool and comes in that carrying case. I also purchased some spare blades with it, too. The box was pretty decent sized - WAY bigger than any mailbox in my area, fo sho....

I put in the order on Saturday, July 30th with 2-day Prime shipping. It arrived the next day and was delivered by a dude driving a beat up blue pickup truck but wearing a USPS uniform. This was a Sunday and really strange to me so I asked him about it. He said that since my house was less than a certain distance (I think he said 1/2 mile but I don't remember) from the mailbox, I was entitled to door-to-door delivery. I can think of a few other Amazon packages I also got at home from USPS none of those were weird Sunday deliveries, though.

But this only happens with stuff I order from Amazon. Remember my rant about my lawnmower parts? They were held at the post office because they were over packed by the shipper and the box would not fit in the stupid parcel lockers.
