Default MY04 vs. C5 Vette

Ok before I start the story I'm sure there are a bunch of you that will call bs. Just to let you know, I know no one will believe, but I gatta tell it anyway.

Was coming back home on the 14 from LACR friday night. Barely any cars ahead of us. I was alone in my ride, my to buddies in there integras following behind. Saw a group of camera's but none of them wanted to play. Then my buddy in his teg started high beaming me. I thought great a cop, but then I saw a black C5 Vette, and I know he was talking about that. Pull up next to him at 90 and pace him. Next thing I know he takes and, and I gun it a little late. He is already about a car and a half ahead of me, but there was a slight left then slight right, and I gained on him(guess he got scared of the turns). Second time were going about a hundred, and this time I get on the gas first, and he does right after I was about half car ahead. He stops my pull at 110, but he stays a little behind my back bumper . !20, 130, 140 and he's still not gaining, 150 and nothing I am still ahead with the same distance between us. Turned on my flashers to let my buddies in the tegs know I won, but when I looked back couldn't see any headlights anywhere nearbye. Would have kept going, but saw flashing lights ahead, so we both nailed the brakes. I got next to him, and the driver wouldn't look over my way. I slowed to about 70 so my buddies would catch up. The Vette drove off at about 80, and I was freakin out because of what just happened.

That was a bad azz night.

If you nail it a second to two before he does, thats the equivalent of having a 12 second car. Nice kill, teach him how to drive.

the only thing i can think is that he kept it in 6 and never downshifted..... because the s2ks pull up top isn't like a vettes.... whatever, i won't call bs but 99% of the time a standard c5 will own the s2k in every way. i'm sorry but thats the way it is..

thumbs up to you though if you really did this... but its very hard to believe... esp. since you have an 03 cobra in your kill list.....

240hp s2k vs. 350hp and 390hp cobra......doesn't add up to me but what ever.

You know if the guy did keep it in sixth then he must've been a real idiot, but then again I think he may have been an auto but cannot really be sure because I never got to talk to him. I'm curious are the C5 governed to a certain speed up top, could that be why he never really came back, maybe?

The cobra story I've been over many time, not ganna go over it again.

The mustnag gt did not have 100 shot, he only had a 50 shot, and that was it. A stock one doesn't stand a chance, but this one was basically dead even till about 120-125. Maybe the nos ran out lol?

Oh and the tt supra was auto with about 170,000 miles on it bone stock. I won from a roll by half a car, and he won from a stop by half a car.

I don't usually switch on my flashers, but when your racing a C5 and stay ahead the whole way. I wanted my buddies behind me to know what happen, ofcourse they were no were in sight to see it.
