I have a question about the Discount Tire membership benefits.

Does the free mounting (& I assume balancing) apply only if I've purchased a set of tires from them, or can I bring tires to them and get free labor?

Also, which Discount Tire does this apply to? I think I remember it being one in Plano off 75, but can't remember. Surely it isn't any Discount Tire.

Yep, you'd need to purchase your tires from them. I think they only charged me $30 or $40 to mount and balance my Hoosiers though. You'll need to go to the Discount Tire on 75 in Plano, next to the Home Depot. Ask for Al Cavan.

Your website has a dead link on this subject

Installing a Low-temp Thermostat and Fan Switch

Can you send information on how to contact the manufacture of the intake temperature shield mentioned on the web page? I cannot locate the person mentioned in the article.

Please PM with any information.

Thanks

Hey guys...
I called the DT in Plano today and they said Al no longer works there... anyone know where he might have gone to? I probably won't be able to race this upcoming autocross since I procrastinated a bit on getting my race rubber, nail in one of my fronts!!

I must say that as a proud owner of Honda S2000, I have always felt the need to say that it is a car that is quite different from the kind of cars that are released from other cars manufacturers. Once you get hold of the Honda S2000, the first and foremost thing that you can notice is that it is, compared to other cars is an everyday car. I am so glad that the north Texas guys are doing every bit of their ability to inspire the S2000.
