Audi's rule. And the Lambo's are technically Audi's. biggrin.gif

yep conway is right! Audis rule and after driving the RS4 myself, i'd say i'd pick it up if i have $70k in a heartbeat!.... and i can still go to costco and carry coolers and 3 more people going to a BBQ wink.gif

wait til the S6 avant comes.... i'm in line to drive that badboy as well before it's even out on the showroom floors biggrin.gif

Cool. You're not seeing the haze any more in the images? I finally slapped a lens hood on this time. It's just the cheap 85 1.8mm. I prefer using the 135L, but I'd have to stand so far back for shots it's not as practical to use all the time. I didn't post process any color or correct it. I don't really bother with sprucing these shots up since to me, they're just snapshots.

hmm, maybe i should start shooting raw again...never enjoyed taking that extra step to convert it to a internet friendly format.

with that said, do you have custom curves loaded on your camera? when i first got mine, i was tinkering a LOT and may have gotten a curve that wasn't so good to me.

Why shoot jpg and lose potential details? I don't have custom settings at all on mine. I let the camera take in the scenery as is. So no extra saturation, contrast, sharpness, or anything. I want the control of doing that myself and adjusting as I see fit per image. Image quality is really in the lens these days. The 20D/30D can take great shots and they're close in quality to the 5D. Just make sure you use a Canon lens. L lenses, in particular, really show off what the camera is capable of. Both my non L lenses have vignetting on my 5D, but my 135L has none. The colors on the 135L are amazing. The photos really "pop" out at you.

The only non L lens I'm happy with is the 28-105...
I rally want a 300 2.8 and a new camera but that's not going to happen anytime soon..

arrrmand
if you want fast and super easy web converting download picasa (google) picture viewer. I upload my pics to zenfolio and use picasa to convert them to jpeg.

thanks
mac

If you can afford it, pick up the 85mm 1.2L. That lens is amazing. It can probably make an ugly person look good...

Nice pics Jarod - looks like you picked up a few more cars in your caravan than when we were at Santana Row smile.gif

I know most of the lambo guys from the forum and they are a pretty cool laid back bunch that just loves to put miles on their cars. Andreas was going to bring his Verde Ithaca Murc. Spyder but guess he didn't make it out.

Yeah the s2k is a bit out-powered in that group eh? Bet the Porsche was fun to follow...hahaha

You took some pretty nice pics for being the driver, how'd you do it?

Will try to make it out for a bit this Sat. morning if I have time since we're headed to Fresno.

I'll be attending the meets in my Gallardo probably in 2 weeks so let's all go for a drive again!
