Teflon Coating
I got my S2000 teflon coated. which means i only have to wash it with water and dry and its nice and clean and smooth.
I think everyone should get this it save alot of time and money in the long run as i don't need to buy the expensive waxes etc.
Also it stays cleaner in the rain as the water just glides off when driving or drips away when parked.

um... what? How much did you pay for this "service"?
Was it a dealer-supplied service?
I've yet to see a product that actually applied Teflon to, well, anything outside of the manufacturing process.

hrts2k-
dont feel bad- its a common post here...
the primary problem is that all cars get swirls eventually- just depends on how you take care of it as to how long it will be.
the only way to remove swirls is to polish the car. polish removes anything on the paint, including teflon.
the perfect shine will eventually have the teflon removed-
before then, just treat the car the same way you would if it did not have the teflon on it- the products that we use to protect the paint will increase the time that your teflon can stay on the car-

I believe teflon does not stick to paint. It only sticks to metal. This process requires using extremely high temperatures.

Yeah i got it done professionally and its got 3 year warranty too. so if it comes of inthe 3 years then they will redo the car at no cost. So i do not care.
And i have had it for about a 1 month now and have had no swirl mark and they have given me car wash to use and also a cloth and spone to use.

It cost about $220 NZD. You can tell if it has come of because the water would not bead off the car and also when you wash it it would not be smooth and look like its just been waxed.
