Default Random Misfire P0301 & P1399

Took my car out of storage this week (March 15) and drove the car a while but I sudenlly get a CEL while coasting in neutral (P0301 & P1399). I figure it may be bad gas since it was stored for 3 months (fuel stabilizer and injector cleaner was added before storing it). Go to the station and fill her up / Clear the codes (It was half empty).

Today (march 17 -- 200KM later) I get a CEL again while coasting in neutral preparing to stop. Check the codes again (P0301 & P1399).

P0301=Cylinder 1 Misfire detected
P1399=Random/Multiple cylinder misfire detected

Stuff done to the car during storage
-Spark plug recall @ Honda dealer
-Engine/tranny/diff/brake/clutch oil change (no relation with problem)
-removed the intake cover (what the hell, i love the sound)
-Car has 47000 miles - 2001

I read in previous post that people who have this problem are usually completely idle or in vtec. What could be wrong? Should I check; spark plugs, coil, injectors ,compression test, valve ajustment? The car runs fine. Had the car only 7 months total so I can't tell you the history of the car.

Thanks

valve adjustment first. Gas may be junk.

Well, the car has only 47000 miles but it will get a valve adjusment on tuesday. While he is there he will also check spark plugs, coil and engine condition. I will report back on tuesday.

Im just being carefull since I don't know where the car is coming from.

I have a feeling it has something to do with the spark plug recall that was done before the winter.

Car will also be getting the testpipe installed (couldn't get the cat off).

I have that same problem on mine.

Valve Adjustment
Spark Plugs
Coils

are the first thing you check i work for honda and the honda oem coil packs are ****ing useless they just randomly die or quit or wear out. ****ing garbage i say.

Also if those dont solve the problem

It says to check
Fuel
Fuel Filter
Injectors

In other words

Valve Adjustment and Seafoam.

Well, I put my airbox cover back on and no more check engine light (Over 400+ km).

Im guessing either vacuum leak or the ecu doesn't like the airbox cover off (Cyl 1 is first one closer to intake).

CEL came back twice yesterday. I guess that air box cover wasn't the fix.

Will switch coil and sparkplug around this weekend.

Note: Valve adjustment and test pipe was installed that day

Moved coil 1 to coil 2 and moved coil 2 to 1.

Now Im getting a misfire on Cylinder 1 AND Cylinder 2. ~50 KM after clearing cell while coasting to a stop

Im wondering... The coil 2 must be bad. But why still a misfire on cyl 1? Bad coil on Cyl 2 and spark plug Cyl 1? Or does the bad coil affect the ohters?

March 15: after ~150 KM CEL - Coasting to a stop (P0301 & P1399)
March 17: after ~150 KM CEL - Coasting to a stop (P0301 & P1399)
March 19: after ~150 KM CEL - In Between 2-3 shift (P0301 & P1399)
March 25: after ~500 KM CEL - Coasting to a stop (P0301 & P1399)
March 27: after ~50 KM CEL - Coasting to a stop (P0301, P0302, P1399) After coil 1>2 switch

Can anyone help?
