Project Mu BBK Install with Advan RZs
After debating on which brand to run, I went ahead and decided to try Project Mu. I have had both Spoon and Endless bbks on my previous project car, so I figured, eh, why not?
This kit is the 355 rotor version, and here I am trying to bolt this up under a 17" Advan rim. I figured, what the heck, let's try it out!
Friends S2k in the background w/spoon monoblocks
Cutting the dust shield
Here's my friend Lee....always wear protection!!
Bolted up!
Clears the spokes!
Clears the barrel (barely lol), and clears the weights on the rim..
Figured why not test fit. Here's a 17x9 +40 TE37
Type NS rear pads
Got some room!
All done!
Here's the issues encountered during the install:
The brake line does NOT fit 06+ S2000s (mine is a 2007) unless you buy the ap2 MY06 and up brake lines, the 355 rotor needs to be spaced out by a tad in order to clear, and also slight grinding on some arm welds is necc! Rim and Caliper untouched
I'm running on 2 hrs of sleep because I had to go to work the next morning, but it was worth it!
Much thanks to my S2ki friends that helped me make this work!
