Finally have my childhood dream car
Just wanted to say hey from Montreal Canada. Just picked up one of my childhood dream cars, a Berlina Black AP1 with red/black interior and it only has 86,000 KMs Car has an AP2 front bumper/lip with wheels, AP1 tails, "JDM" headlights, and adjustable suspension, too. First time owner after doing extensive research on it and comparing it to other cars. I knew I've always liked how it looked, but didn't know just how overengineered and amazing it really is after reading more about its history, and of course reading up on Uehara. I don't really need to pitch to you how great the car is on an S2000 forum because you already know, but just felt like making an intro since I'll be lurking these forums alot now :P. On that note hit me up if you're within a couple hours of Montreal so we can cruise, that's mostly what I want to do anyways. Not down to get tickets.
For anyone who cares, here's a little to do list I came up with to get done before the summer since I have to wait for the snow to melt to drive it anyways:
-Full A-Z detail including engine bay/interior (doing it at a very reputable person in my city, Waxxon if you want to see some of his work)
-Order Michelin PSS tires or something of similar caliber
-Order Invidia Q300 exhaust with Mugen headers
-Order OEM red H emblem from Honda dealership
-Order LEDs for dome/trunk/license/footwell at js2k.com
-Order 4 NGK 7772 PFR7G-11S Laser Platinum Spark Plugs
-K&N 57-3514 FIPK Air Intake
-Billman timing chain tensioner
-Hondata heat shield
-Oil and filter change
-Tranny fluid change
-Coolant change
-Cabin air filter change
-Brake fluid change
-Clutch fluid change
-Clean, polish, relube clutch slave cylinder
-Rear axle nut re torque
-Valve adjustment
Will post more pictures in a different thread after I get the full detail done, but here's a couple for now

Welcome to S2K ownership, happy to see you have a plan and some knowledge in place.
I may see you around this coming summer, I live about an hour west of Montreal.

Nice man, I'm guessing Cornwall or Ottawa area I'll be all over the place this summer so I'll for sure see you around. I'm also trying to find s2000/nsx meets and cruises, I know they're out there just need to find the people

Yes, the Cornwall area. I am planning on making this meet later in the year and will be my first time. Suggested by another member that I met in the fall, a link to last year's cruise.

There's no amber in the JDM diffusers, western ones have the amber in it. Either the previous owner changed the diffusers or bought the JDM ones, which are pretty expensive. Besides that and maybe the bulb type I'm not sure what the difference is, haven't looked into it that much. I just know I find them much more aesthetically pleasing compared to the ones we get in the west
