It only took 12 years.
In 2004, just after moving to Texas from Maine, my daily driver decided to find a new owner. In the process of looking for a replacement, I tried a 2002 S2000, but decided on something more practical.Fast forward to December of 2016, after a couple of years of retirement, boredom caught up with me, and I went looking for an S2000, finding a 2005 GPW in El Paso. After exchanging phone calls, pictures, etc., I flew there on January 2, bought the car, and drove it home to Roanoke. It’s early, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to love this car, and it certainly has as much performance as I will ever require. No plans to make any significant changes, and I got the autocross bug out of my system in the ‘70’s (Lotus Europa).I’m sure I’ll see many of you driving about North Texas in the future, and I look forward to meeting many of you as well.

You sir are not the only person in that boat, my first ride in an S2000 was in 2000 and I only bought a MY03 in 2014. Will have one for the rest of my years on this earth after taking my sweet a$$ time getting the first. Enjoy and welcome to S2K ownership!

Congrats! Love the White. I live next door in Trophy Club and will keep an eye out for your new ride! There's an auto cross at TMS this Saturday and a lot of S2Ks should be there.
