GoPro
I recently noticed the Jan15 options were selling at a monster premium ($6/sh) so I bought 100 sh of GoPro (GPRO) and immediately sold an option against my shares.
I'm in at $47/sh, and after making $600 on my option sale (Jan15 @ $50) I have a nice pad against a drop in stock price over the next several months. And, if the option executes, I'll make about 19% in five months.
Just sharing in case anyone is interested in making a similar move.
Very volatile stock -- but there may be money here.

Checking back in 2 weeks later. Holy crap -- I hope someone else got in.
Stock has been climbing 6-10% DAILY and hit $68/sh mid-day today.
I'm now looking at my piddly 19% with serious disdain...I could've been up 45% by now.
Still, very happy with my (almost guaranteed) profit.
FWIW my option is now worth 300% of what I sold it for.

Good news -- whoever bought my option claimed the shares today, so I ended up making my 19% in just over a month...and I don't have to wait 'till Jan to get that money.
I'm out!

Hmmm Didn't see this till now.
I was lucky enough to buy on the IPO date and sold a short while after for 60-70% gains but man... Missed the fat chunk at the top.

Yeah, it topped $93/sh before the 2 owners got greedy and wanted to sell part of their share today which caused a bit of a sell-off in response.
I'm with them -- at $90+/sh this is way way way way way overpriced.

Haha! That's the truth! I keep investing in my car and the only return I get is smiles and emptier pockets.
