Anyone spotted new S2000 test mules around Marysville Ohio?
I am sure most of you have heard about the relaunch of the S2000 via media reports. It is rumored to be produced in Ohio even-- which only adds to the excitement. Has anyone around Marysville or that area seen any test mules out roaming around? My office is up in Detroit area and I often see the disguised cars from the domestic manufacturers on my way to the office early in the morning. Just curious if anyone has seen or heard anything about S2000. Plus, what do you all think of it being made in Ohio next to the NSX?

I haven't seen any mules but I did have an ass almost hit me today!

Also sounds like if it follows the NSX philosophy of having a hybrid assist and what not, it may not be as much of a driver's car as the original S2000 either. It'll be interesting to see if the rumors pan out.

I agree! I bought a new Stingray in that price range. It has great performance stats on paper and it is a lot of fun but the S2000 is more fun to toss around. The Stingray is heavily computer controlled ( even though it can all be shut off). One of the nice things about the S2000 is its raw fun. I hope it remains that way.

If it has a dual clutch/electric motor BS and is over $50k the first thing I will do is sell my S2000 and buy a mint S2000 that will be what I will own forever.
If it has the same awesome 6spd, no electric BS and is under $50k, the first thing I will do is sell my S2000 and order one.
Looks like something is happening to my current S2000 if it happens
