Don't these basically cut down on your shock travel the more you lower it? Can't be ideal for ride, or longevity, correct?

Ground control sleeves + koni yellow shocks.

I have this combo and love it. Great for daily driving and actually good quality shocks unlike many of the cheapo coilovers.

Can you show me something this doesnt apply to?

I can vouch and would recommend any of these two set ups for daily/spirited driving and occasional track. If this sounds like you, go with any of these two coilovers and what fits your budget. Again Both are very comfy and affordable.
Currently running BC BR with 1.25 inch dropped all around and upgraded swift springs 10k all around for about 6 months and cant say nothing bad about them. (S2ki member Pariah convinced me a while back to try these coils which was when I made the transition from Pss9 and I couldn't be any happier their simply awesome.)
BC Racing BR under $1100-950 (upgrade to swift springs 8k 10k 12k front and rear)
Bilstein Pss9 under $1300-1150
If you need your coilovers to do more I will advice you either to save until you have enough funds to purchase a new set of Kwv3 or wait around until someone sells a used set on here.
Hope I helped and Good luck.
