Default What's a good coilover

Just looking for opinions on a good coilover for my daily driven s2k. This car gets drove between 40 and 100 miles per week. I'm looking for something under $1,300.

Under 1300$. BC, fortune auto, Tein flex, hks 4, buddy club.

Best ride for street would be kw or ohlin hands down.

My choice would be for under 1300$- BC first then the hks.

Under 1300? Stay stock. OE suspension is fantastic and you're probably going to hurt the handling if you throw a cheap set of coils on.

Maybe he just wants to lower it and retain or improve ride quality. He did say daily driver.

Bilstein PSS or PSS9 are both within a reasonable range of his budget. Their downside being that they're zinc plated. So...they don't typically fair as well if used in road salt.

I'm very happy with my HKS IV GT.

But I haven't tracked the car on them & I replaced my OEM suspension with them (which at 140k miles & 16+ years had seen better days, as proven by the fluid they left on my hands).

I need to experience more S2000 on different coilovers before I trust my own recommendation.

KW or Ohlins for mixed street and track use. But if you want hardcore performance for cheap, look at the BC racing custom valved ones Ballade Sports sells.

My vote is for HKS but Fortune just came out with their new versions recently if you want to check those out.
