f**k, these are just terrible. What an embarrassment to the site and S2k community.

woah woah woah..... How about we not shoot a"n" Admin down without knowing who your "site admins" are. Anyway, that being said, I agree that this went too far. I also find it a slap in the face that some of the cars posted in here are cars I followed from my years on the board. Some of the cars were owned by people I have met in person and still keep in touch with from time to time.

I have a message to IB asking for a change in the article process and how we can improve it. Anyone want to volunteer as a news editor?

I don't even have a real comment for how terrible this article is and how opinion based it is. It is like they went to Google images and picked out random S2000's and decided to write on what they didn't like about them. My question is, why stop at 10 you could have gone for 15-20 hell even 100. Remember "Anything in life worth doing is worth overdoing. Moderation is for cowards." Remember that the next time you want to waste all of our time on a ridiculous article.

So that it doesn't seem that I'm just "piss & vinegar"....if the site admin is looking for 'fresh' front page content then another idea might be to post a picture of an "S2ki member of the month" car.
I feel like it's hard (and time consuming) to sit down and write a really quality article.
IMHO it's better to err on the side of not posting enough good content often enough vs. posting alot of crappy articles every couple days as that is annoying as hell to see everytime you are visiting a site (that you pay to be member on).
A nice high resolution picture of a member's car with a mod list, and some info about what the member enjoys doing in their S2000 would certainly appeal to a broader audience than some (not all) of the article topics that I've seen in the last 3-5 weeks.
