This is exactly what I was looking for. I gutted my soft too, so I was considering using those seals.

Right, I understand that. What I'm saying is that I re-used my soft top seals on my hardtop. I was considering buying these, but the soft top seals seem to work just fine, and saved me $350. I'll probably eventually buy the OEM hardtop seals, but for now, the soft top seals seem to be working about 100% better than any of the aftermarket offerings

What about the rear underside seal? Did you just keep the one that came with the hardtop?

I just use off the shelf 3m seals from Autozone or anywhere for the rear. I am considering doing the OEM real seal this fall when my hardtop goes back on. If I do, I will update the DIY.

il def tru to do this on ym rep cf mugen top in the near future i still have some air leak on my passenger side.. driver side is perfect when i used the seals that came with the top. This is all after I purchased 3M's double sided tape and used that with the seals.

Not yet, but soon. As the heat dies off here soon, my hardtop will be coming off for a month or two for convertible weather. Once it's off I plan to install the OEM rear seal and a glass window. I'm also hoping to get a defroster on the glass but I'm having a hard time sourcing one.
