Oh, wait. The ap1 o2 sensor location is slightly different than ap2. You can swap one cat for other, ap1 vs ap2 either way on any given car, as the wires are long enough for the very slight extra reach. But, depending on which cat you have, the o2 sensor location hole in the heat shield will be in a slightly different location.

Meaning if you built this new cat using ap1 heat shields as the model, ap2 heat shields won't fit without obvious mods (adding a new hole in the shield). Likewise the other direction, if built for ap2 shields, ap1 shields won't fit.

Will you be able offer two different versions of your cat, ap1 and ap2, with o2 sensor in slightly different location? If not, which version was yours modeled on, ap1 or ap2?

Hopefully these tabs are welded securely. The bracket welds cracked off my locally produced cat-tabs. Vibration may have done it. A large rock under the car hit the cat and broke the tabs for sure! Have yet to weld them back on.

Have no FEAR Ap1 and Ap2 use the same upper and lower heat shields. Part # 18181-PCX-A00 & 18182-PCX-A00 for all year models 00-09. The cat themselves may be different but not the heat shields. Our product is 00-09 compatible.

We are confident in the craftsmanship of our product, but not sure if it will withstand a large rock. Road hazards can do damage but who knows how much.

Excellent news about the heat shields! Thanks for addressing that.

The thing about the vibrations causing tabs to break is one of the hassles that just buying this avoids. If there ever were a problem, there is someone to stand behind their product (barring severe road hazard).

Buy this and pay a little more than the other popular hfc, and not have to pay someone to weld tabs and hope they don't break. Avoid the cost and hassles of fabbing.

Unbox. Bolt on. Drive.

Why is the 63 more than the 70 and 75?

That's a nice way of damaging the O2 sensor.

Well considering the customer who bought our product would have surely suffered from a damaged O2 sensor from an OEM Honda Catalytic Converter, he can be assured our HFC option will never break the tip off an O2 sensor with the use of our cel fix. We were able to catch this failed catalytic converter prior to it damaging the O2, as we have seen in many cases.
