The clearance in the photo got my attention. There's slightly less than two fingers clearance between my tires and the fender lip on my unaltered '06 with OEM suspension and tires. I expect rolled fenders and lower profile tires on the same wheels will allow more fingers?

Going to look into making something like that available for people that are interested.
Count me as very interested. CSO has not responded to my emails yet.
In my experience, CSO doesn't respond back to non-japanese emails. Jesse was able to get me items from CSO.

Don't assume they speak English. Contact Jesse Streeter.

So it sounds like the best thing to do to maximize performance of the DFV would be to run 750/650 7" springs and a ride height of say 13.5" rear and 13.25" front, with the rear shock body riding as low as possible?

roll center adjusters will make a big difference, if rules allow for them.

Not really sure where those numbers come from. Going to vary drastically driver to driver and whether or not you run in a class with really dumb rules. Advantages of lower ride height and proper geometry are largely underestimated in my opinion. By far the most important, everything else is there to accommodate that.

... Speaking in terms of maximizing rear travel, using the actual spring instead of the bump stop, anyway. Lower is better, yes, until you are bottoming out your shocks. But with bumpstops as good as these, maybe it doesn't matter. I figure a higher ride height and stiffer spring will better use the shock/damping available, even if you must set at/near full stiff. I'm also thinking of STR class limitations, yes, so no roll center adjusters. I love those lower mounts. That's helps too. Looks like there a lots of good ideas these days to get more than expected travel out of the rear of the DFV's, which is great. I'm tempted to try them.

Just announced the solution to your DFV rear ride height vs preload trade off! Check out the link below for details.

This has zero effect on the amount of possible drop or compression stroke with our new lower mount. Preload and ride height are decoupled on the DFV's once you add the billet lower mount You can go a full 2" lower on the rear to get down to a competitive height.
