The track at Cayuga is fun. Check out their website you can just show up I think. Friday night lapping sessions. My friend has his srf there quit a bit. Border crossing is interesting.

i follow them on Facebook. They posted some open lapping sessions 11am to 4pm for $120 Canadian.

Several events at all the tracks you list. Motorsportreg.com is your friend. Most everyone uses it and you can link to their contact. I'm not sure the structure on vtec club events.

^^^I assume he doesn't have a legal roll bar.
Im also a strong advocate for NASA as well. Join them, they have awesome instructors. Get a good roll bar (I have a hard dog) and helmet, and get to an HPDE. NASA, for HPDEs at least, doesn't have any rules on aero or tires as long as you have adequate tread depth.

Your biggest priority (other than making the car safe) should be running with a group that has a strong instructor culture, at least for your first few events. The different groups have different cultures, some groups around here I should run in advanced with others I'm at the low end of intermediate.
Ask around to people local to you and also check out the miata forum for suggestions as well.
