I use sparco's and these have a wide toe box for amercian feet. If you have wide feet these are great and go for only $99

I'm using some old Sparco / Puma Race Cats

So far they've been through 2 years of go kart racing and are still holding together.
No complaints here.

Brooks running shoes.

I have hated every driving shoe I have tried. I don't think they would be bad for a real pedal assembly but all of them are too narrow IMO.

I have an older set of Piloti Sebrings I occasionally wear to work etc because they are fantastically comfortable and don't LOOK like a driving shoe.

For the track or if full fire gear is required, I have a set of mid-top crow safety shoes I really like. They have literally no padding though so you wouldn't want to wear these to walk anywhere since they are basically nomex bedroom slippers with a comcially thin rubber sole.

Ordered! I went with the Asics Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66's so hopefully I'll be happy with them!
Here's what they look like:

Also I'm turning this thread into an official thread so that it can keep growing

I drive with these...

(JK random google image, IE- not my foot )

I actually have these...

I also like these for working course, I've got 3 pairs of nike freerunners in different colors. If you are unaware of these shoes go try a pair on. AMAZING.

I had bought a pair of Puma speed cats, but the sole is not wide enough, which leads to me not being able to heel toe like I'm used too. Kind of a shame, because the sole is nice and thin and has great pedal feel. So now I just drive in my everyday Vans Eras.

Favorite shoes ever: DC Pro Spec. Gel heel, but super thin direct feel like a puma under the ball of the foot. Not narrow, but not wide either. In other words, great driving shoe, great working course shoe.

I have the Pro Spec 1.0, which actually is SFI/FIA/fireproof as well, but they're discontinued and I don't think they have the fireproof version anymore.

Edit: I have one of the high top versions, but the 2.0 has both a low top and a high top
