Default When to go for bigger injectors

ok. So I'll admit I'm new to the fuel injection world. I've got a an f22c at 12:1 with .5" lift cams (max e prod rules). So at what point do we need to look at switching injectors? Im assuming the stock injectors can handle this load but maybe some advice.

I know I don't need 565cc injectors but is there benefit going to a rdx injector or 440cc. I'm running kpro so can tune it to match but is there benefit to doing so.

Most tuners would say when your injector duty cycle passes XX%. Some don't like going over 75% some might be okay with 90% or 95%. I've run my injectors wide open at 100% before on track. So datalog your KPro and see what your injector duty cycle is on track.

New injectors like the RDX suppose to have better spray pattern which might help a tiny bit.
Just do a full throttle log until redline on third gear for example and you will see if your stock injectors are maxed out or not.

Thanks guys.

I've got a starting point. I'm trying to manage getting the race car together and parts staged for my trip home to work on it (the car is 9000 miles from me) so I'm debating just buying something in case. I'm flying home for two week from 2-16 of may and have lots of work to do on the car, install new engine, a dyno session and two SCCA majors. I think rather than be close or on the edge, i'll get something...if they don't work, i'll put it for sale with all the extra stuff i've bought in the last couple months

Looks like it's going to be an anxious april and a fun may!

I think i'm going to go ahead and put some in.
Anyone heard of this guy from Alberta? https://www.google.co.in/url?sa=t&rc...50120842,d.c2I
Guy seems pretty reliable and some good stuff about him. Injectors are flow matched by set, maybe I'm thrown off because a set of 420cc siemens injectors with connectors is $150.

the other option is the Ballade Sports RDX kit. Proven, known and good. Not read any issues around, seems to be the logical choice. Anyone know is the ballade sports kit flow matched? or is it just 4 new injectors to fit an s2k?

Any feedback guys?

when buying injectors, just buy id1000s

high resale value

will support lots of power so you have room for growth

injector dynamics flow match their injectors

plug & play clips etc

I'm certain id1000's are way to big and I can't grow any more than I already am. Scca production rules limit cam to .5" lift and compression to 12:1 and no forced induction. I think you can go to bi in injectors

While I agree that the ID1000 can be a good idea... I dont think it applies in this scenario. They are 4x the price of an RDX setup. I had done the RDX 410cc on my K20z3 and it did yield a bit more torque in the midrange with a corresponding tune...

I would go with the OEM RDX setup!
