I just had another street encounter and dont feel like makin another thread.
A red 6.0 GTO on old winter garden rd.I was coming from valencia and when he saw me he droped it in neutral and reved at me.He repeated a couple of times.We were next to each other at the apopka vineland light.I didnt want to look at me because that would provoke me to race and i didnt want to.we rolled off the line and he kept it in 1st up to 25-30mph.Like a reflex i downshifted into 1st,got to vtec and took off.he probably took off half a second after me i pulled half a length going through 2nd.I felt like he was catching up slowly but there was traffic in his lane so he slowed down.At the next light he got up next to me,i looked over but he didnt and kept driving.No revs or anything for the next 2 miles haha!

I got my butt kicked by a 335i 4 door. He was pulling away from me easily. I knew I was going to lose but I just wanted to see the margin. At the next light, he did say his car was slightly modded.

Me vs my buddy's 335i.
this was years back..
mods were:
ARC intake box/chamber
Spoon n1 exhaust ( no tp )
17" work emotions ( heavier than stock )
removed spare tire/tools
i was @ about 2680lbs at the time.
335i = Auto(auto is faster than manual for 335i's), stock.

2 years ago, I encountered a 335i sedan on the highway. The 3-series had 5 people and I was driving solo. I kept even with the driver in every run we did. There was only one time when I pulled about a car length on him before shutting down. It was kind of embarrassing because I thought I would have killed him since he had 4 grown men in the car with him, but his 335i was just quick. I don't know if it was stock or not.

My wife drives a stock 135i and it stomps me EVERY time. Effortlessly.
Those N54 equipped cars put down 280whp/280ftlbs stock and change up through the gears almost instantly when in Sport mode. Chips and re-flashes add a ton of power as well.
Congrats for hanging with that 335i your S must be a beast!
