$3000ish for the hardtop, $1 for the rest of the car. That car looks like shit.

If I were a dealer I would offer around 3k for it. It looks like it would need at least $2-3000 in reconditioning. I think you might do well selling to top separately if possible. If I were to sell the car privately, I think $4000-5000 would be a fair deal. It could make a nice track car for someone.
Best of luck with the sale!

I own several cars. I am considering downsizing to simplify life. I own a 2008 S2ki. This car has never seen rain. It currently has 14k miles on it. Always garaged. Car is all stock except for K&N FIPK. Car is black with black interior and black top. Tires and wheels have no defects. Black paint looks brand new. Engine bay is spotless.
Anyways, I am not at all certain I want to sell this car. I am simply curious as to what this car might go for to a S2ki enthusiast. Not really interested in what CarMax or other car dealers will offer. Again, I am not certain I want to sell this car.

I would tell you guys it is worth what someone else is willing to pay. I have been searching for another toy, the S2000 is one car I am looking at. What I have noticed is a good amount of folks think their cars are worth more then they are, those are the ones that have been for sale for many months or even a full year. It is funny to see someone pay $18K for a car, put 5k miles on it and expect $22K back 1-2 years later. And then they wonder why it is not selling. On the flip side cars in pristine condition priced to sell are gone quickly. The problem with real low mileage is you have to wait for a collector, most people want to drive the car and will not pay a premium for real low mileage.
The 2008 should sell quickly around $26-28K depending on how many owners, records, etc. The 2005 I think you could get close to what you paid, maybe $23-24K. That is based on my month or 2 of looking.
One other thing, so many folks base their price off what they see on Autotrader or even cars here, you have to base it off what the cars SELL for, not what they are asking.

Lol...I agree. A nice car like the S2000 shouldn't be smoked in. I always cringe when I see people smoking in nice cars. Add to that hauling pets ruins cars. The only car pets should be in are old subarus with rubber mats and seat covers....lol.
