I should turn 200,000 miles today... haven't been active for awhile.. been doing parent care and the S2000 has become farther down my list of importance... however.. Mom's in the Hospital and they are going to rehab her for a few weeks... and I just don't feel like sitting around and waiting.. so I took a drive around Jax.. hadn't seen Jax in ages... then last evening I did the Daytona route, and when I got home, I realized I was some 50 miles short of 200,000.....

went out for a few errands around town and ticked away the miles... this is an awesome car... I bought it with over 78k on it and have gone through 3 sets of tires, a clutch, and a set of brake pads. Also changed to an AP2 trans.

I am at 203k miles on my 01. In fact, I just changed the OEM spark plugs. Just a little brown at the tips.

are you saying your trans went out so you swapped in an ap2 trans?

01 with 251k. One clutch, some steering components, a rotor and caliper, door lock motor, new top. Nothing major. Motor still pulls hard to redline. Added a test pipe in stock diameter and a aem v2 intake. Intake was getting torn so between the 2 mods and new iridium plugs the car really woke up.

Oh. Also 3 struts went, so I swapped to megan ez street coils. Car runs great now.

Looking to add a berk header back with HFC single exhaust, and maybe piece an economy turbo kit together. Well see.

After 10.5 years, I finally hit the 200k mile (~322k km) milestone on 12/31 to close out 2013! Would have arrived sooner but toned down my driving during the last few years. I redline regularly during every drive, everyday. Still on the original engine and the original clutch. No major issues. Billman250 did some sort of compression test a few months ago and stated all cylinders were reading 215 (not sure of the context). Aside from regular oil changes... serpentine/ancillary belt replaced once, sparks replaced twice, valve adjustment twice of which the second wasn't really needed, cat replaced a few times due to annoying metallic noise from loose element, timing chain tensioner replaced a few times, brakes flushed and pads replaced twice, driver front lower suspension arm replaced due to seized bushing.

^^

Congrats! That's great. I'm pretty sure I'll never see 200k in mine. At my current rate of usage, it would take me about 30 years.
