Default PDI, good to make sure it has been done BEFORE you drive the car

Wow, another surprise came when I took my car in for the first oil change. People kept blinkin their lights at me as if I had my brights on, I didn't. I told the guys at my local dealer about it and they took her in for the 3750 at the same time. Apparently the dealer I bought the car from forgot to tell me that upon delivery of the car (I got mine delivered from Chicago to Florida) get it PDI'ed by the local dealership. PDI = Pre-Delivery Inspection. I had 16 strut spacers still in place on the car. They were a bit crushed by 3500 miles but seriously, I thought the suspension was just that hard. Man, its actually a great feeling to have driven this long on hard ass shocks then have the spacers out and the learning to drive again. The car lowered by 1.5 " and the front end points down more alleviating the lights problem. I do however have to watch out for gutters , before I could go over anything, now I have to be careful not to scrape. Oh well, the car looks better and rides nicer. I haven't figured to if the handling is better or worse but its an S2000, the handling is just damn good.

Also, looking into getting a CRX Si as a long trip car, anyone have a better suggestion?

New stats also: Had the car: 1 month 3600 miles

First accident at 286 miles

Tickets 2 - first and second in my life...

Highest speed reached 128

Strut spacers? Should it have been the spring spacers?

Sounds like his car was shipped "pre-PDI" so he was supposed to get a dealer to do the PDI. Whoops . Probably no harm done. unless those spacers contributed to the accident . Anyways, enjoy the car now, long distances will be a lot easier on your behind without those spacers.
