Default Slick steering wheel, sweaty hands....

I can't be the only one here with this problem. I tend to have sweaty hands sometimes. Add to that a hot, humid summer day with the top down and the nervous excitement of driving the S2000 and I have a real problem. Mine's a 2006 of that makes any difference. The leather on the wheel is really smooth and non textured vs most newer cars I've driven lately which have a texture to them that feels grippy. Of course all of these cars are driven less spiritedly in the comfort of air conditioning which makes a difference too. I really don't want to get an aftermarket wheel but this is really an issue some days. Has anyone tried spraying something on their hands to stop the sweating? Do you experience this problem too or am I the lone weirdo?

You could also rock driving gloves.

I would just clean and condition the wheel more often.

If you're looking for the go-ahead to wear driving gloves while on the street, you're not getting it from me.

There's plenty of leather cleaner and conditioner options. I like the Meguiar's stuff because it's decent and available locally, but there's tons to choose from.

So you use the same stuff you use on the seats?

Yep, for the wheel itself (leather). For the airbag cover I use the same stuff I use on the dash.
