As title states will ap2 ebay front plastic lens swap into ap2 oem headlights? My oem have stress cracks so i can't resend them and restore them so i was thinking buying ebay lights for $200 and swap the lens over and end up still keeping my oem look and projector performance. Trying to save some money instead of spending 900 on oems brand new..if anyone has done this please confirm. Thanks in advance

I've read they will, but will know for sure in the next month. I picked up some spec-d lights from amazon warehouse for $140 and was planning to swap the lenses. They appear the same from what I can tell, except they are missing the diffuser strips that the stock lenses have. I don't expect that to make much difference though. Curious to hear about your experience if you get it finished before I do.

If i do proceed to do this i will definitely take picks and update everyone for sure. Just wish that i knew for sure it will fit before soending 200 on ebay lights and end up not fitting

I've seen a post on here where someone was able to successfully swap their OEM projectors into some aftermarket headlights

Oh so you saying instead of swapping the lens just swap the oem projector into ebay headlights??if thatworks that could be great. But either way lights have to be opened up.

UPDATE:
For those that wanna save some money on our expensive oem headlights because of lens getting stress crackes or fades from sun you can buy ebay oem replica lights for 193 dollars shipped and swap out the lens into your oem housing. I just did it and it fits 100% perfect.. lights it self you absolutely same cant tell the difference at all..every detail on ebay lights is same as our oem. Only projector is different (not look wise but performance wise im sure since s2ks have the best projectors out there) . It looks absolutely same so you can either swap the lens and keep oem housings or if you dont care about performance but want stock look you can just install ebay lights straight up. Hope this helps to some ppl that wanna save few bucks on headlights.

Wow looks great. Considering returning my spec-D lights to get these as they look to be 100% match versus the spec-D that are fully clear lenses.

Awesome post! Ordering a set to swap out the lenses! Mine also have stress cracks everywhere that annoy me so this will do the trick and then I'll resell the eBay ones
