Battery Tender
My S2000 sits in the garage most of the winter and as a result the battery needs to be charged every once in a while. Last week my son bought a battery tender for me thinking that it would eliminate the problem. I want to try it but I have one question, when you put the battery tender on should you disconnect the battery from the car or is it ok to leave the battery hooked up with the battery attached?
Thanks for any info you might have.

Thanks. That's what I thought, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks again.

Summer time,I don't disconnect the battery, just put the tender on.
Winter time, stored from november 01 to may 01, I disconnect the battery, and put the tender on;don't ask me why,I don't know, just a habit of doing it like that.

Just hook it up to the battery. I have pigtail on my car batteries (comes with the device) and hook up as needed. I only "charge" the S2000 every other weekend or so and keep the battery tender on my Honda (of course) generator so it'll quickly start during the routine winter storm power outages we get here on the North Coast. In the summer the tender is connected to my boat battery so the Honda (of course) outboard starts quickly.

I leave mine in the car and just connect the tender.
